A few days before Nick's birthday, we had a party for him with lots of his good friends and relatives to celebrate this milestone birthday. For the second year in a row, Nick had his party at the Lifetime Fitness in Coon Rapids. It was a blast! The plan was to jump in the new Super Jump, eat cake and pizza, open presents, and then go swimming.
Nick picked Scooby-doo for the theme of the party, and Grandma Claudia even got him a Scooby-doo shirt to wear for the occassion.
Here's the birthday boy, with his Scooby-Doo shirt, hat, and "I am 5" birthday pin!
What's a birthday party without a cake? Of course, we had to have this be Scooby-Doo, too.
Lifetime Fitness got a new Super Jump, which everyone loved. Here are Nick and Cara in the Super Jump, pausing long enough to allow us to take their picture.
Then all their friends got in on the action!

Jessica, Nick, Owen, Eleanor, and Aunt Jenny all jumped like crazy!
Cousin Amy played Ring-around-the-Rosie with Blake, Cara and Quinn, while Maria, Pete, and Joann watch safely from outside.

Cara, Carmy and Ben all modeled their star sunglasses. Don't they look cool?
Ben and Cece guard the door.
Here's a bunch of the kids! Blake, Dominic, Brady, Cara, Jessica, Carmy and Cece.
Pizza, anyone?
All that jumping makes us hungry!
Cake Time!
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, dear Nick, Happy Birthday to you!!!!
Eleanor, Ben, Daddy, Mommy and Aidan get a front row seat for the candle blowing and wish making...
That's our big 5 year old! We can't believe you are that old already, but we have loved every second of the journey to age 5.
